Our approach
Vaastu is often handed over as a verdict. We would rather show you the reasoning: what was measured, which zone it landed in, and why that matters for the way you use the room.
A home is scored against sixteen bearings of 22.5° each, taken from true north rather than magnetic north or the street. The same plan rotated by ten degrees is a different reading, which is why alignment is a step of its own.
Every zone carries an element. A kitchen sits naturally in Agni's quadrant; put it in a water zone and the two work against each other. Most of what a report flags is a conflict of this kind, not a mystery.
Almost nothing we recommend requires building work. Colour, metal, weight, light and what a room is used for will move most scores. Demolition is a last resort, not a first suggestion.
Eight-direction tools round a home to the nearest quadrant. The Vaastu Purusha Mandala divides it into sixteen, each with its own devata and element. These are the same sixteen your report is scored against — not a simplified version of them.
Counts are uneven because several zones are compound — the north-east reads as Water/Ether, the west as Space. A tool that shows four tidy groups of four has rounded something away.
